Picking The Christmas Tree

Wendy took Ellis, Mary Clare and Quinn to pick the Christmas tree on Sunday. The rain did not deter Mary Clare and Quinn who did their due diligence "kicking the tires" on a number of trees before settling on the one that they wanted o bring home.

Skylar's First Dance Performance With Joppa Dance Company

Skylar had her first performance with the Joppa Dance Company this weekend with shows on Friday and Saturday night and then a matinee on Sunday. The entire family was able to attend on Saturday night and Wendy scored us a great seats in the second row. The critics in our bunch gave Skylar's routine the highest marks out of all of the groups that performed. For the Holiday-themed show, Skylar's group was a mix of bakers and gingerbread men.

Lighting The Christmas Lights on Rowley's Town Common

Tonight was the annual lighting of the Christmas lights on Rowley's Town Common and all of the Girl Scouts in town led the singing of Christmas songs.  Wendy did a great job organizing the evening and made sure there were plenty of candy canes to go around!  Of course, Sklyar was there front and center with the other cadets.
